Healthy Snack Idea's for Kids Valentine School Party?
My daughter is in SK and they’re having a little party for the kids in the afternoon. The teacher asked to bring in some snacks if we don’t mind and also mentioned that healthy snacks would be nice.
I figured there would already be cupcakes, chips etc so I wanted to think of something healthier to bring in….any idea’s???
I’ll be bringing this into the class in the morning so it can’t be any fruits that will turn brown or anything that will melt. Well…there goes my JELLO idea. LOL
Any help would be greatly appreciated! =)

You could bring in some cheese and crackers, kids love cheese and crackers! Also, you could bring chex mix that you make yourself, or even that chex puppy chow that is made with peanut butter and chocolate. I am not sure! I also think that drinks would be a good idea, grab a couple boxes of Capri Sun and that would be a great idea too! Good luck!
You could bring in supplise to make sandwiches like PB&J, cheese, ham, ect. and let the kids make what they want for a sandwich and then when they are all done you bring in some cookie cutters with different designs and they can cut their sandwiches to have that design that they pick
Kids love to dip baby carrots in Ranch dressing. I like your jello idea — can you make jigglers and have the teacher store them where it is at least cool?
Well, this isn’t something to ‘make’ but to buy. EnviroKidz Organic Crispy Rice Bars are low fat, low sodium, nothing artificial, gluten free by Nature’s Path. They come 6 to the box and I found them in my HEB grocery store. Also saw them in a vitamin store last weekend. I’m usually finiky, but the peanut butter are fabulous!
Bring in drinks like apple juice or fruit puch (especially since it’s red)! A lot of times, people forget about drinks at a party! They’re relatively healthy, because they’re just drinks.
Take some pretzel sticks and put them thru some chunks of cheese, they taste good and are fat free. The cheese is good for them too.I know that peanut butter inside a wedge of celery is good but I don’t know if little one will eat the celery. You can also use the pretzels with big olives& tiny tomatoes.Hope this helps…..
